Shannon Jeffries is a Production Designer currently working on the Paramount Animation feature, “Under the Boardwalk”.  She started her career working for Dreamworks on films such as Antz and Shrek, but is best known for her Production Design debut on Penguins of Madagascar, and her years of Art Direction of the Madagascar franchise series.   

In recent years, she has continued working in animated features stateside with studios like Netflix and Reel FX, and globally, in Indie feature film Development with Norlum and Nimbus Film in Denmark.  In keeping with her interest in story design, she Production Designed the award winning, 20 minute VR experience, “Allumette” with Penrose Studios, is currently teaching Originality in Design at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, and dabbling in narrative jewelry design.
